July 2, 2011-A group of
farmers from Uzbekistan started to produce bio products based on the highest
environment standards, Jahon news agency reported.

HandelsgmbH and Austrian Development Agency are implementation a project in
Samarkand city in production and processing fruits on high ecologic standards
with use of solar energy.

HandelsgmbH Director-General Josef Bertagnoli said that currently about 150
farmers from Uzbekistan started to produce bio products based on the highest
environment standards and their number will grow.
The project,
which was launched several years ago, started to give its fruits. The ecologic
clean products from Uzbekistan are realized through Austrian REWA shop chains
and used as component for production of chocolates by ZOTTER, producer of elite
chocolates.
In the future,
it is planned to expand assortment of products from Uzbekistan with special
sorts of cherry, pomegranate and sea-buckthorn, which will be processed in
Austria and exported to the United States.
Josef
Bertagnoli said that the enterprise uses peel and stones of cherry and other
products as biomass and in the result, the production has no waste.
