Proved oil reserves in Uzbekistan
estimated at the volume of 0.1 billion tonnes (0.6 billion barrels) and natural
gas at 1.6 trillion cubic meters in 2010, British Petroleum (BP) said in its
Statistical Review of World Energy 2011.
According to the report, proved oil
reserves in Uzbekistan grew by 0.05% in 2010 compared to 2009, while proved
natural gas reserves – by 0.8%.
BP said that Uzbekistan produced 3.7
million tonnes of oil in 2010 compared to 4.5 million tonnes in 2009. The
company said that in average Uzbekistan produced 87,000 barrels of oil per day
in 2010 against 107,000 barrels in 2009 (-17.8%).
Uzbekistan¡¯s oil consumption grew by 2.8%
from 4.8 million tonnes in 2009 to 5 million tonnes in 2010. Average daily oil
consumption made up 104,000 barrels in 2010 compared to 101,000 barrels in
2009.
British company said that Uzbekistan
produced 59.1 billion cubic meters of gas in 2010, which is 1.5% less compared
to 2009.
Natural gas consumption in
Uzbekistan made up 45.5 billion cubic meters in 2010, which is 4.6% more
compared to 2009 (43.5 billion cubic meters).
