State Property Committee of Uzbekistan
is to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Korea’s Shinhan Bank.
The State Property Committee of the
Republic hosted the meeting with Jeong Ji Ho, the head of the representative
office of Shinhan Bank in Uzbekistan and his deputy, Lee Jung Hoon.
The sides discussed the issues
of specific forms of establishing of bilateral cooperation in attraction of investment
to the privatization process in Uzbekistan, the implementation of possible
joint projects on the improvement of the infrastructure, management of state
assets, securities market development. The two sides exchanged views regarding
the possibilities of forming of effective mechanisms for achieving the
objectives of cooperation, and defined the order and the stages of further
joint work in above mentioned fields.
