Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways), national
airline of Uzbekistan, received the seventh Airbus ¬¡320 plane.
The press service of the company said that new
passenger A320 plane landed to Tashkent International Airport on Friday
evening. The aircraft was built at Airbus capacities.
Uzbekistan Havo Yollari has been exploiting
medium-range A320 aircrafts from 19 July 2010 and they fully used old-dated
Tu-154 aircraft.
The Airbus ¬¡320aircrafts are used to carry out flights
in internal destinations and to neighboring countries. The airplanes carry out
flights to Almata, Amritsar, Astana, Baku, Bishkek, Kiev, Lahor, Tel-Aviv, as
well as Russian cities.
This is the seventh A320 aircraft of Uzbekistan Havo
Yollari. Total number of A320 aircrafts will be reached ten by the end of 2011.
A320 aircrafts have been configured in a spacious two
class cabin layout seating 150 passengers, 12 in business and 138 in economy.
The eco-efficient A320 will benefit from the latest aircraft design and
technological improvements contributing to lower fuel burn and emissions.
Airbus A320 airplane consumes twice as less fuel than Tu-154 of the same
passenger capacity (2.2 tonne/hour versus 5.5 tonne/hour). This aircraft weighs
less and this factor is very important for the aircraft operators. Its avionics
is wonderful, and triple backup of all the systems makes this aircraft reliable
and safe.
