National Exhibition Center “Uzexpocenter”
(Uzekspotsentr) hosted the first stage of the International Industrial Fair and
Cooperation Exchange – specialized industrial fair.
A complex of public utilities, capital
construction, building industry and transport was represented by the companies
of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Both small and large businesses of different patterns
of ownership had the opportunity not only to exhibit their products but also to
become familiarized with technical innovations and new products, achievements
of related industries and businesses, and identify short-term need for products
and accessories.
At the first stage of the event, basic
industries and small businesses of the republic exhibited their products by production
sectors. In addition to the public services, transport, capital construction
and construction industry, offer was also made by Uzbekistan Airways of passenger
and cargo transportation, technical maintenance and aircraft repair services,
including demand for consumables.
The national airways have offered their
list of 33 items valued at over US$ 1.5 mln per annum to be manufactured in
Uzbekistan.
Numerous visitors to the
display booth of Uzbekistan Airways had a chance to gain a familiarity with the
products used by Uzbekistan Airways and domestic enterprises, items proposed by
the Airways for production in future and certificates and awards for high-quality
technical maintenance and repair of aircrafts by Uzbekistan Airways Technics on
the international market of air services. Uzbekistan Airways plan to sign contracts
worth US$ 6.4 mln during the operation of the industrial fair and cooperation
exchange owing to vast opportunities to find reliable partners, conclude
contracts and identify a list of orders for supply of own products.
