Volga-Dnepr Group is in the process of preparing a
package of documents for order of the fifth ramp freighter IL-7TD-90VD, AviaPort.Ru
reports with reference to the source in the area of aircraft building.
According to AviaPort.Ru, even under the current conditions
of drastic slump in the number of air-freight operations, the company hangs on
to previously adopted decisions and consistently continues placing orders for improved
aircrafts IL-76TD-90VD: this summer, the Group expects to receive an order from
the Chkalov Aviation Production Company TAPOiCh in Tashkent for the next fourth
aircraft IL-76TD-90VD.
Being the third aircraft IL-76TD-90VD
in the fleet of the company, this aircraft is the first of the three aircrafts
of this kind, which have been ordered under the purchase contract between Volga-Dnepr-Leasing,
LLC, and "ОАК - Транспортные самолеты",
OJSC, signed at the MAKS 2007 aviation show.
